We’ve worked for 25+ years to create an amazing staff of experienced DJ professionals. All our DJs are required to have some combination of the following before they “make the cut” and earn a position as a Columbus Pro DJ:
- Over 4 years of actual wedding experience (our current staff averages 15 years)
- Education in the field of communications or broadcasting
- Radio Experience
- Club Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Diverse and well rounded music knowledge
Our management staff attends yearly Professional Entertainment conferences and seminars by the National Association of Mobile Entertainers and the American Disc Jockey Association. This training allows us to keep up with the current trends, learn from the “best of the best,” and help keep Columbus Pro DJs one of the best DJ services in the Midwest.
AJ Andrews, Owner and Main DJ
I started my DJ career in college on our local radio station. It gave me valuable on-air experience and allowed me to become the DJ for the college parties and weddings. Then for 10 years, I worked for a large entertainment company, traveling across the country setting up DJ businesses. I finally settled down here and established Columbus Pro DJs in 1998.
DJ Rob D.
Best of the Best DJs in Columbus. Started with Columbus Pro DJs in 1998. Took a break and traveled the country to DJ in other cities from Ohio to Oregon including opening with a DJ set for Rihanna. A master mixer and Master of Ceremonies. Rob will help create the funnest event you will ever attend. From weddings to Coporate Events and from Sporting Events to In-Store promotions. If you have a need for anytype of music, Rob is your guy
DJ HP
Graduate of Ohio Media School and started DJing with Columbus Pro DJs immediately in 2017. Happy to play all styles of music and bring energy to weddings, dances and all types of parties.
DJ ISAIAH T.
Isaiah is the rookie on our staff but is quickly moving up in the rotation as he is building a nice reputation as a professional DJ. Currently our school dance specialist but is now doing weddings as well. Brings a lot of energy and loves to come out to show you a dance or 2 to motivate your crowd.
DJ Adam
Currently our EDM specialist but knows all types of music for anything from weddings to Corporate events. Adam has done it all at Columbus Pro DJs from Photo Booths and wedding videos. Super nice guy and give great attention to details. His goal is to walk out of your event with a satisfied client and a new friend.
DJ Jeff F.
Wedding professional. As an talented Master of Ceremonies and fun DJ with Columbus Pro DJs since 1995. Jeff, as a member of Toastmasters, may be the most skilled voice and presenter on the staff. His voice and style and knowledge of music make him a great choice as your weding DJ but if you need him for your Corporate Event, he can do that as well
DJ Mike K
More than just a DJ. With Columbus Pro DJs since 2000 and worked as a comedian in the Mid-West region as well. Mike brings a certain personality that only a comedian can bring but doesn’t use your event as a stage for anything other than getting you and your guests to dance and have a great time. If you don’t smile and laugh around DJ Mike K you need to check your funny bone to see if it is damaged.
DJ Chris M
A life-long musician and DJ with Columbus Pro DJs since 1999. As a trombone player in a Big Band Jazz Orchestra and the ability to Cupid Shuffle with you and your crowd, Chris has a massive range and knowledge of music from the 50s to todays hits. A great emcee and the most profesional radio friendly voice you will hear.
DJ Ron C
Ron is one of the original OGs. While Columbus is his home, he spent time DJing in Milwaukee and Minneapolis as well. Ron’s music knowledge is unmatched and loves everything from Motown and 70s R&B to today’s top hits. Smooth style and voice to match.
Jermaine is a real Favorite in the DJ community and on our staff. Such an awesome wedding DJ but is happy to do anytype of event that wants nothing but a great time. Knows all types of music including he is the best Latin DJ on our team of great DJs
